A British sense of humour covers a multitude of sins. I came to work in The Netherlands for just two years......18 years ago! I'm still struggling with the language, but finally I'm taking Dutch lessons. My daughter refuses to let me speak Dutch to her friends as she would rather they know me as "That crazy Englishman", rather than "That stupid Dutchman".

I am now beginning to live the rest of my life, to the full I hope. I have come to realise that the plans I have are best shared and not experienced alone divorced with a 14-year old daughter (did I mention the daughter?) who spends half her time with me and half with her mother Having a daughter is God's punishment for you being a man. You live in fear that she's going to meet someone like you used to be at her age!

We also have a dog. She's the only Jack Russell in the world that's scared of rabbits.

So, looking for someone who is looking to deal with a re-invented Englishman, and who isn't afraid to go head to head (occasionally) with a hormonal teenager and very affectionate (if somewhat loopy) terrier.
