"If there's any kind of magic in this world, it must be in the attempts of understanding someone sharing something."
Hi! My name is Engel, 34 years old, from South of Cebu Ph but living now in Mactan island, in a rural area. I'm a linguist and a teacher. I am an independent person matured and living alone I look after myself and take care everything on my own. I like to create a comfortable space, and you can just relax around me.
I like traveling a lot, and interested in other cultures and languages. I have been to some countries in Asia, and would like to travel to more countries in the future.
I have gone to Thailand in 2012, Vietnam in 2015, Cambodia and Laos in 2016 and back to Vietnam in 2017 to 2019(for work), Malaysia and Sri Lanka for Safari in 2019 before returning the Philippines. Malaysia and Sri Lanka were one of those amazing trips I had, visiting national parks and lots of trekkings which what I mostly like to do when visiting places.
I've come back in the Philippines few months before the Pandemic began in 2019. Because of our current situation, it has been really tough to move around. I hope you are doing still fine in the comfort of your own homes. When it is safe to travel again, I will check out a bird sanctuary in Olango which only takes about 20 minutes on a boat from where I live. I have been thinking as well to visit Siargao and Negros. I heard there are beautiful places and beaches to explore.
I visited Mount Taal in Tagaytay and went trekking almost everyday in Mount Makiling in Laguna when I did a 6 months study at University of Philippines (UP) in Los Banos. I also visited Mindoro. I have lived in Bohol for one year and did a lot of snorkeling in Panglao, kinda touristic one but has a lively vibes. I also visited Palawan, Malapascua and of course explored many places in Cebu, the North, Central and South. South of Cebu, my hometown has a lot of waterfalls that are worth to see. The Philippines has more than 7,000 islands and there are many of them that's worth visiting. But, I don't know if I'd be able to see them all. I hope I would before old age.
