Hi,
I moved in Heidelberg in January 2015 from Canada for work. As my nickname suggests, I am a doctor and am doing research under BASF. I like outdoors activities and sports such as biking (I have three bikes canoeing, hiking, snowshoeing, fishing and even maple syrup making! (Yes, I know, typical Canadian...) I also like playing squash, sciences, politics and cooking.
I don't know much people outside work (none essentially for now), and would like to meet more people outside work. Last time I tried online dating sites I was 18-19 (I had been in long term relationships for most times since then), and I have to admit it was mostly disappointing when I was just approaching it as a catalog of potential dates. All I remember is the awkward pressure to know right away just from chatting online if it could work romantically; not my thing. I think it is impossible to know just from online conversations if it clicks romantically or not... And if not, that is just fine too, I am also looking to meet new friends and have good times.
As for what I am looking for romantically in a woman, it is pretty simple: I want to meet someone to share some interests/hobbies and good times. I would like to meet a caring woman to have good discussions where I feel challenged intellectually, and naturally also with who I have a strong connection. If you think that way too, let's chat and do something fun to get to know each other!
