I'm very passionate about history, and current events. I like keeping informed on a wide variety of topics, and also analyzing how things will play out in the end. Reading, learning, and picking up new ideas come easily for me, and I don't consider it work. It's fun, good for you, and helps you to constantly grow as a person. I'm also very into watching movies from Europe and Asia. Helps you to understand different cultures, and, in a way, "see" other places. I am able to grow intellectually and am able most of the time to admit when I've been wrong about something. I am honest, and project a sense of honesty to people around me. I'm good at reading other people, and then taking into account their views. I think the first thing people notice about me is the way, or confidence in which I present myself. It both helps and hurts, depending on the situation. I believe that people would say that I am honest, genuine, and as importantly, sincere. People, like the natural world, evolve and grow. I've reached the point where I'm totally ready for a stable, serious, lifelong relationship in my life. I really regret not having formed a lifelong relationship up to this point in my life, and want that to change! I want to grow with someone else as a unit, and see what we can accomplish together. I am a disciplined individual who can wait and remain alone rather than give in to be with someone just for the sake of companionship. I certainly can differ from any type of physical / sexual relationship while I wait, because I believe one must be 'in love', before even thinking about sharing intimacy. My personal meaning of life is knowing how to handle what is thrown out at you, whether it be good or bad. Life throws many a curveball, and as you get older, you handle things differently. I very proudly stand on my own two feet - some men seem to be uncomfortable or threatened by it, but one of the biggest curveballs I have gotten in life is expecting someone else to make everything okay. Everyone is responsible for thier own happiness - once you acheive it, all you want to do is share it with someone else, which is why I am here. I no longer want to spend my weekends in a bar just hoping that Mr. Wonderful walks in at the precise time I am there. I am hoping this is a little more proactive! So the question is, WHO is he? I want someone that will help me cook dinner,lol. and someone that can appreciate me for all that I do. any takers?
