The basic facts of my life can be stated in about 100 words: Born in Toronto, youngest of four children. I was married to Blanche . We have five daughters who blessed us with ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. After many years of widowerhood I married Evelyn who, tragically, left me after a delightful decade. I was a professional fund-raiser virtually all my adult life. Have lived in Montreal , Jerusalem and now have lived in Richmond BC since 2017. I don’t do drugs – never have. I write and dabble in oil painting, both more for pleasure than profit.
The foregoing are realities of my life; following are viewpoints and ideas developed over a long life.
I believe a positive hopeful outlook attracts a better tomorrow. I have optimistic dreams and work hard to transform dreams into realities. I realize now that I am retired that I never learned how to relax. I regard the love I have for my five daughters to be one of my greatest blessings. And of the blessing of old friends is that I can be much less than perfect, and will not forfeit their friendship Some people laugh at me because I seem different. To them I am different because I dream of what they say is impossible. Since taking up painting I have found myself engaged in all sorts of conversations that might otherwise not have emerged. I feel a state of coupleness is attained when two people each feels that her/his number one priority is the happiness and contentment of the other. Life and love are made of time. Privileged those who find love in time. Wise those expressing love, before life runs out of time. Now its your turn to tell me something about you.
