Hello. My name is Dan.

I enjoy hiking, bicycling, playing billiards, woodworking, cartooning and 2D animation.

I'm not political or religious. I'm looking for someone to spend time with, but right now

just as a friend really. Perhaps if there is a connection, something more later. I have never

been married and have no children, and I am quite content on my own; however, sometimes

I do think it would be nice to have a companion who has similar interests and is reasonably

well educated.

I work as a translator for a large Japanese trading company, so my job has familiarized

me with a fairly diverse range of industries. I'm interested in digital and energy

transformations, new materials and potential applications for AI.

I exercise regularly and try to eat healthy. I don't play sports anymore and even when I

used to, I was never that great at them; although I am pretty good at snooker (I can play

equally well with both hands). I also make my own snooker cues by hand and have put

videos about them on YouTube. They're not too rubbish.

My dislikes include smoking, religion, tattoos, drugs, political extremism, marzipan and

country music.
