An internationalist with a love of discoving new cultures and ways of life but who retains some very english traditional values.
A countryman at heart who has returned to my native North Yorkshire countryside after many years living and working overseas Now living in rural splendour alone apart from my various animals and of course my ever loyal flock of laying hens and some kittens who seem to think they are hens..
At peril of appearing to be blowing my own trumpet I have been described as;. Intelligent, worldly, knowlegable, amusing (peculiar sense of humour), a good entertainer, a great communicator and writer / public speaker, ideosyncratic and "an interesting fellow with lots of stories to tell".
I have also been described in a number of other ways which are perhaps best not published here.
WHO AM I LOOKING FOR?
It is very difficulty to answer this question which pre-supposes that there are ideal 'made to measure' matches. However, as a starting point I suppose the following qualities, in no particular order of importance, could be a workable template;
1. An interesting and informed conversationalist.
2. A 'sociable' person who is comfortable meeting and mixing with folks.
3. Someone who is prepared to put up (and join in) with an ideosyncratic, spontanious and creative countryman who is happy in remote rural Yorkshire enjoying good food, good beer, glorious scenery ...... and cricket.
4. Pretty attractive and sexy ..... and not shy about being so.
5. Could enjoy spending time on a Jacobean country estate, going for long walks (with occasional breaks at country pubs) and revellinhg in the history and socio-political importance of the place.
And much, much more ................... But, as I said this is an almost impossible question to answer without being unfair to people I have never (yet) met.
