To keep this as short as I can; like the great majority of others, I’m working and it’s balanced with my other responsibilities and yet, here I am.
And what is ‘here’ you might ask; I don’t want to be cynical, but let’s be realistic, of the 100% of these profiles I would estimate a breakdown as follows:
Defunct - 35%,(so far, the most out of date I’ve seen is two profiles here that don’t appear to have been edited in 10 years and are still appearing as ‘Matches’)
Defunct multiples of same individual - 15%,
*I previously had a profile on this site that I did my best to erase, at that time I was a little new to the practices taking place here; I am doing my best to be patient this time round.
Bots/Fake/Catfish/Scammer - 45%,
Real Genuinely seeking maybe 5%(and I stress ‘maybe’, likely to be far less than).
Physical attraction is often the primary motivation for each of us to pursue another, assisting in creating the beauty we are surrounded by; acuity, common and differing interests, communication and compassion further developing grounds for a relationship to flourish and strengthen the initial intrigue.
It is often said to,”leave a little mystery about oneself”. However, this one at least, is reluctant to delve any deeper when presented with very little to go by.
So to those of the ‘5%’, a little about me; being the age I am, life experience has shaped my thought processes and personal traits for longevity. I would describe myself as a community oriented, fiscally conservative, pragmatic, dogmatic, judgemental, self disciplined, blue-collar liberal. I've a twisted sense of humour wild enough to… well I won’t say too much here as to not incriminate myself, I’ll just say I get my funk on when the opportunity allows.
Now let's talk about that funk, if you're the type of individual that isn't rythmically physically moved to(and I'm trying for a top 22 artists, very difficult to limit it to so few): AC/DC, Ash Grunwald, Avicii, Basement Jaxx black Sabbath, Bob Marley, Boler Mani, Colter Wall, Eagles of Death Metal, Jay Ungar and Molly Mason & The Family Band, Kelis, Lois Prima & Keely Smith, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Randy Watson and his band Sexual Chocolate, Ryan Bingham, Schoolly D, Sepultra, The Chemical Brothers, The John Butler Trio, Vince Giordano & The Nighthawks, Vince Staples & lucky last Underworld, we mightn't be absolutely perfect for each other, but I am open minded.
Even given these factors, let’s enjoy life and give ourselves the chance of bonding with another and break down social stigmas that inhibit our ability to grow.
Here’s willing each of you within the ‘5%’ the simplest comfort of being genuinely lovingly held by an equal that appreciates, respects and deserves all that is you.
