I'm a caring, thoughtful, romantic, and spontaneous man, I also love banter, so if you don't have a sense of humour, then you should avoid me ! I'm always happy to go the extra mile to make someone happy ! or help anyone in distress
Making time for my family is a priority, I believe in good manners, and expect others to be the same, I enjoy taking care of my appearance, and don't like unnecessary bad language, respecting each other and honesty are essential in any loving relationship.
I'm not afraid of showing my feelings in a close relationship ! so if you don't enjoy receiving flowers and chocolates then maybe you should look elsewhere !
I am a retired Upholsterer which I did for 51 years, made furniture for some very famous people over my career, I'm a very normal bloke, so I enjoy regular walks, gardening, DIY, planning holidays, weekends away, theatre visiting historic buildings, entertaining family, exploring the countryside, finding a beautiful beach to roam on, Devon and Cornwall are blessed with these ! But so much more to explore !!
Would love to discover the West coast of Scotland !! and Ireland, maybe in a Camper van !! but anywhere with mountains and lakes is fine by me !! This is why I would love to meet my soulmate that would love to accompany me to discover countries such as Italy, Austria, South of France !! Norway etc.
But I also enjoy the simple things in life too, like going to a restaurant for a meal, holding hands, watching the sun set over the horizon, listening to music of all types, love the theatre, airshows, carnivals, classic car shows, live music, or simply putting my feet up and watching a good film with a glass or two of red wine !
