I am a very active woman who enjoys travel and the arts. I play and teach the violin, viola, cello, and harp. I am a violist in a Wedding String Quartet as well as a Fiddler in a band. I work with troubled youth at the Juvenile Detention Center. I love riding my motorcycle, (700cc Honda Shadow) and I have recently begun training for my first marathon. I instruct Belly dancing at a local college on occasion. I am a green belt in American Okinawan Isshinryu Karate. I really like to relax at the end of a busy day with my two cats and two small dogs by knitting and watching a little TV or listening to a book on tape. I hike, jog, mountain bike, walk, ride horses, or ride my ATV throughout the year, and I love it when it rains and snows. I am a freelance artist and I especially love to draw with pen and ink, and Edward Gorey is my hero. I don't like to cook or be in the kitchen, but I appreciate fine cuisine and the effort and art that goes into presenting a good meal. I like to stay fit, but won't turn down a chocolate truffle. I stay away from drama and I hope to be a good friend to anyone who appreciates honesty.
