Well, right now I'm in Canada and it's a great country and I love it however I've always wanted to move to Tasmania, in the south west near the mountains and temperate rain forests Or New Zealand on the south island. I imagine I would live in Hobart if Tasmania and Auckland if New Zealand and yet build some kind of retreat in a remoter part of either country ; perhaps a self-sufficient tiny home. I am by education and trade an architectural design specialist.(technologist) I am athletic, outgoing and a social person but a part of me likes quiet times with a special person. I guess at heart I'm a home body. I love to read and I love my cats and when I find the right woman she will also be a reader and a pet lover love dogs and donkeys too). I have six little fur people with whom I share my life. There's nothing like cuddling up all together in front of the TV on a rainy, cold and windy night. All I am missing is a female partner. I was in a long-term serious relationship but over a decade and a half we grew apart. I need to find my true soulmate Personally you would find me hardworking and a passionate individual, more left of center politially. I hav no use for right wing authoritarian jerks, always trying to tell everyone else ho to live. unfortunately such psychopaths usually have all the money as capitalism favors those sorts of creeps( male or female, gender doesn't stop one from being greedy and selfish) However I do believe in personal responsibility. I think more people should take responsibility for their own lives but also in a complicated world government must ensure people further down the socioeconomic ladder aren't left behind. .
I take care of myself physically and am very fit and young looking for my chronological age. I truly am, as the Frank Sinatra song says, young at heart. Always will be too. Life's too short to be otherwise. I try and do acts of random kindness whenever I can. Here I volunteer at a cat rescue, building cages, modifying them, repairing things( I am good with tools and a very handy guy from brickwork and carpentry to plumbing and electrical. ) and I also feed the cats in care when I'm on shift. I eat properly and not much but I do love to cook and I am an excellent chef for various cuisines.( do you like Italian cooking? :)
I am also a writer and have one book finished currently and two more halfway done. I have a lot of post secondary education. My first degree was philosophy from the Jesuits. They teach you how to learn and how to depu think about things with hopefully the goal of greater understanding.
I consider myself a spiritual person but I am not into formal religion( maybe I'll start one:) I would hope my future partner will be like myself, an intellectually curious sort of person and also passionately romantic and physically active.
